The tennis fans in Munich will be blessed with a fantastic semifinal between the world no.22 Hyeon Chung and their compatriot Sascha Zverev.
Zverev
Seeded no.1, Sascha has reached the semifinal after defeating 2 fellow Germans in the first matches. In fact, after beating Yannick Hanfmann 6-7 (12) 6-4 6-2, he defeated his friend Jan-Lennard Struff in the quarters 6-3 6-2.
Chung
Seeded no.4, Hyeon reached the final 4 after beating the world no. 163 Mathias Bachinger 6-1 6-1 and a dangerous Martin Klizan (122) 6-3 6-4.
The head to head
Chung leads the German 2-0 after he defeated him last year in Barcelona and earlier in January in Melbourne.
In the other semifinal, 2 Germans will face off as Maximilian Martener will play Philipp Kohlschreiber.
