At 21 years of age, Sascha Zverev seems already a veteran. In fact, the German sensation has already won 6 titles (2 ATP1000), and he is ranked no.3 in the world.
Sascha is looking forward to going for more, and he is toying with the idea of hiring a “celebrity-coach” that would be instrumental for him especially to go deep n the slams, something that Zverev is still missing.
Zverev is currently in Munich where he is trying to win the first title of the season. When asked about his performance at the majors, Sascha replied
“I know that it’s only a time matter before I go far in the Slams. I have to still make progress as a giant; I know that I am still not where I want to be.”
The talking about his current team he added
“I am satisfied with the team I have. [Becker and Lendl] are the only ones who could be taken into consideration. They understand me well off-court.”
Sascha has an excellent relationship with both Boris and Ivan. In fact, Becker is his current “coach” in the Davis Cup team, and Lendl has been seen watching Sascha in Miami at the beginning of April.
