The match
After losing the opener at the tiebreak, Stefanos won the second set after conquering the decisive break in the 7th game (5-2). In the decider, the couple went toe to toe till the 5th game when the 19-year-old broke Kevin again (3-2) before breaking him also in the final game. The match ended after 2 hours and 12 minutes and the score was 6-7 (3) 6-3 6-3.

Stefanos will face the world no.77 Roberto Carballes Baena in the quarters. They have never played each other so far.
