Grigor Dimitrov and Pablo Carreno Busta had a fierce battle in the Barcelona quarters that ended up with the Spaniard winning in straight sets, but the two didn’t end the contest in great terms.

What happened

After Carreno Busta won the opening set, the couple was engaging in a tight tiebreak in the second set. Grigor was 2-4 down, and after he served, he had an easy drive volley that he squandered at the net.

According to Grigor (and he was probably right), both players stopped as they thought that Grigor’s serve was out.

Instead, the Spaniard remained silent, and he got the critical point. Eventually, Carreno Busta won the match 6-3 7-6 (4).

I’ll remember this. DIMITROV

After the match, Grigor was furious at the Spaniard to say “As a man, As a man you say, I’ll remember this.”

Not best friends anymore.
