Stefanos Tsitsipas is having a great run in Barcelona where he reaches the quarters without dropping a single set on the way.
The Greek edged a dangerous Albert Ramos-Vinolas in straight sets. Even if the Spaniard is not having a fantastic season (10-11 the current win-loss record), he is still a very tough customer on clay. Eventually, after a big battle, the 19-year-old won the contest after scoring more than his opponent (69 – 65). The final result was 6-4 7-5.
Next vs. Thiem
Stefanos will play Dominic Thiem for a place in the semifinal. The head to head is 2-0 for the Austrian that has defeated Tsitsipas twice this year.
