Nadal wins his 38th consecutive set on clay in Barcelona

Rafael Nadal has no problems in advancing in Barcelona.

The world no.1 wins his 13th consecutive match on clay (38 consecutive sets!) in Barcelona after he defeated the world no. 77 Roberto Carballes Baena 6-4 6-4.

The Match

Rafa didn’t have a fantastic start to drop his serve in the 2nd game (0-2); then the King of Clay found his rhythm to get in the groove and win 4 consecutive games (4-2) before conquering the first set. 

In the second set, after breaking his opponent in the first game (1-0), Rafa conceded another service game (3-3) before breaking back Roberto (4-3) and win the match in straight sets.
