1 THING Djokovic has copied from Federer to comeback

Novak Djokovic is trying hard to get back to his top form after a disastrous 2017 that ended in Wimbledon with the former world no.1 withdrawing because of an elbow injury. Later, Nole decided not to play for the rest of the season to play in 2018, but his comeback wasn’t that successful.

Nole has been trying many things, and he obviously had a good look at what Roger Federer has done to achieve something similar to his fantastic comeback.

During a recent interview, the Serbian confessed that he has followed Roger’s example to change the racket at the beginning of the year.

Djokovic commented

“I changed the racquet earlier this year.

I made some small minor changes that actually in our world are quite significant. Agassi and Radek, who worked with me at the time, felt it was a good call for the big picture and for the long run.

I feel more comfortable with the racquet as I go along. Obviously, it takes a little bit of time.

I think Roger some years ago also had that racquet change, and it took him a little bit, some months, to get comfortable with it.”
