Polansky didn’t want to give any chance to the opposition at the beginning of the set after breaking Wolf in the 2nd game (2-0) before consolidating his break and lead 3-0. Anyhow, the set was not over yet and there was more work to do for the Canadian to win the set because Jeff found the way to break back in the 5th (2-3) game. Peter maintained his cool to break Jeff in the 6th (4-2) game before winning the set (6-3).

2nd set.

The set went straight to the tiebreak as there were no breaks. Eventually, Peter won the breaker at 4.

At the end of the match, Peter scored 82 points vs. Wolf’s 76 points.

The Canadian served very well to win 75% of the points (42/56) behind his first serve. Nevertheless he won only 46% points (18/39) on his second serve.
