Del Potro beats Raonic in a 3 hours epic

Juan Martin Del Potro keeps on amazing after he reaches the semifinal in Miami following a fantastic performance against Milos Raonic that lasted almost 3 hours.

The match was predictably dominated by the service with only 1 break in the opening set that allowed Raonic to grab a 1-set lead. Juan Martin made it even after winning the second set at the breaker, but things became “weird” at the beginning of the 3rd set after 4 consecutive breaks (2 per side).

Eventually, the match stabilized (ie. no more breaks), and the affair went straight to the decisive breaker that Raonic played too conservative, and it was Del Potro to finally win the encounter after 2 hours and 52 minutes. The Final score was 5-7 7-6 (1) 7-6 (3).

After this win, Del Potro is on a fantastic 15 match winning streak.
