Chung breezes to the Miami quarters

Hyeon Chung keeps his great run in Miami to reach the quarters without conceding a single set and without being broken for he entire event.

The South Korean dismisses the world no.80 Joao Sousa in the 4th round after conceding just 7 games and win 6-4 6-3. Hyeon was absolutely perfect in his quest to break Joao once in the first set and twice in the second without ever dropping his own serve.

The contest ended after 68 minutes with Chung scoring 58 points vs. Sousa’s 43.

The quarters vs. Isner

Hyeon will face John Isner in the quarter. The head to head is 2-1 for the American, but Chung has won the last contest this year in Auckland.

Isner commented “He [Chung] is playing some of the best tennis in the world hands down. He’s an incredible athlete, an incredible player; I’m going to have my hands full.”
