Another fantastic performance from Hyeon Chung that concedes just 2 games to Michael Mmoh in the Miami 3rd round.

The South Korean was rock solid in his quest to beat the American 6-1 6-1 in just 63 minutes scoring 54 points vs. Mmoh’s 31.

Draw and Results

After this match, Chung has a great 17-6 record in 2018 and, ranked no.23, he is poised to break in the top20 pretty soon.

The Asian will face Joao Sousa in the 4th round. They have never played each other so far.

Hyeon is definitely a top10 if not a top5 player. He is mentally solid. Also, he is physically strong and this may represent the big difference when comparing him to Nishikori.
