David Goffin is still struggling.
The world no.9 withdrew from Rotterdam when playing the semifinal against Grigor Dimitrov after a ball hit his eye. At that moment it didn’t seem that the accident was so extreme, and there was a big surprise when David retired from that match.
After 1 month, Goffin is still battling with the eye, and he looked completely out of form in the Miami opener against Joao Sousa to lose 6-0 6-1 in 62 minutes after committing 26 unforced errors.
David will now go back to Europe to check his eye. We wish him all the best.
