Shapovalov survives implosion in Miami epic

At 18 years of age, Denis Shapovalov is still learning.

The upcoming Canadian was close to beat Viktor Troicki in the Miami opener after he was leading 5-1 in the decider. Eventually, Denis squandered 5 match points to allow Troicki to get back in the match and bring the affair to the decisive breaker. Shapovalov had to save a match point when he was 5-6 down, before finally win 3 consecutive points and conquer the match after Troicki committed a double fault. The final score was 6-3 6-7 (4) 7-6 (6).
