I am pain-free after years. DJOKOVIC

Novak Djokovic has been struggling for long with all sort of injuries. The Serbian sensation had an astonishing run since 2011, and he was the absolute dominator in the ATP circuit in 2015 after winning 3 slams and 11 titles.

Unfortunately, that took its toll, and the former world no.1 has been battling for long with all sorts of injuries. Regrettably, Nole had to abandon the tour mid-season in 2017 because of a problem with his elbow. Nole wasn’t very successful when coming back in January after he lost in the 4th round at the Australian Open and he had to bow to Taro Daniel in the Indian Wells opener.

During a recent interview in Miami, Nole looked rather upbeat to give fantastic news to his fans and comment

“I actually started playing pain-free in the last two days. It’s quite refreshing because everything else had pain involved.

The last few days have been first in a long, long time that I could actually be focused on the game rather than have something in my mind and be worried about whether I am going to have pain or not.

Actually, it’s the first time in years.”

Nole will face either Benoit Paire or Mischa Zverev in the Miami opener.

Let’s see if the Serbinator is back.
