Bjorn Borg is known to be the Captain of Team Europe in the current Laver Cup; however it seems that the real coaches are Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
The Swiss and the Spaniard seem to struggle to refrain from giving their precious tips to their teammates. Roger looks to be the most active of the two, but Rafa also loves kicking in with his “pearls.”
Tsitsipas “stalked” in the tunnel
There was a fantastic scene ahead of Stefanos Tsitsipas’s match against Taylor Fritz when the Greek was literally chased by Federer and Nadal in the tunnel.
Rafa said: “Let’s see how he plays now, yes?.”
Roger added: “You’re the better player, you know that.”
Stefanos was probably pleased, but also willing to escape the chase! Eventually, Tsitsipas won the match in 3 sets.
