16-year-old Anisimova from US in the Indian Wells 2nd round

Amanda Anisimova is one of the hottest prospects in American tennis.

Now ranked no.149 in the world, the 16-year-old has already surprised last week after recording 5 wins in the 125k event in Indian Wells after trashing most of the players before falling to Sara Errani in the semifinals.

After receiving a wildcard for the main draw at BNP Paribas Open, Anisimova demolished the world no.94 Pauline Parmentier 6-2 6-2.

Amanda will now face the world no.23 Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova for a place in the 3rd round.

Anisimova has already reached the Roland Garros final (Juniors) in 2015, and she won the US Open title in the same category last year without conceding a single set on the way.

Stunning.
