Being Lesbian not a disease. Alison Van Uytvanck about dating Greet Minnen

Last year, Johanna Larsson finally came out stating that she was lesbian and confessing the problems she had to disclose it to her media and sponsors.

Now it’s time for world no.50 Alison Van Uytvanck to talk about being lesbian and her relationship with fellow tennis player Greetje Minnen.

It’s not a disease

Talking to a Belgian sports TV show, she commented

“I don’t find it’s a taboo [being lesbian], it makes me happy. Soon we are going to live together. We do feel super happy together, and that’s what we will show to the world.

Nobody has to justify why they are lesbian or gay; it is not a disease. We are very open about our relationship, and my parents are proud of it. That’s important because the support made us feel good.”

Good point!
