Sleepy Serena advances to the semis the at the Bank of the West Classic

Incredible Serena! She just won her 5th Wimbledon, she arrived in US on Monday without having a single good night sleep and that was enough for her with Scheepers.

After a wobbling first set, Serena won the second one with a comfortable 6-0. Serena gave a real show during the interview saying how much was struggling to sleep the night before where she was up from 1am till 5am watching Desperate Housewives. “I was hoping to fall back asleep but I didn’t,” Williams said. “I was crying as always. I love that show. I was wide wake as if I was in Europe still. I didn’t feel great going out, but I expected to stay consistent till I started to feel better and then I started moving well and that really helped a lot,”

In the other side of the draw Wickmayer upset Bartoli  6-3, 6-2. “I was focused even when I was leading,” said Wickmayer “I played some of my best tennis today. “I had tough three-set wins this week and I think they helped me today. I was happy I could keep my level up against Marion.”
