Sascha Zverev and Juan Carlos Ferrero formed an interesting partnership in July 2017 that seemed to be extremely promising because soon after the German won back to back the title in Washington and Montreal.
Things got dramatically sideways after that as Zverev was struggling to go deep in every tournament. Eventually, they parted ways soon after the Australian Open with Ferrero questioning Zverev’s professionalism.

Sascha is currently in Acapulco where he has reached the semifinals. When asked what happened between him and Ferrero, he commented
“There was a moment where he was very disrespectful towards everybody on my team. That’s why I had to stop that relationship.”
