Becker denies he will coach Zverev at least on a full-time basis

Boris Becker has been a fantastic coach and influencer when he was mentoring Novak Djokovic

At the end of 2016, the German decided to part ways with Novak Djokovic because he didn’t agree with his “new philosophy.” Boris is now the head of the men’s tennis for the German Federation, and he had the opportunity of sharing some time with the new rising star Sascha Zverev.

Now that the 20-year-old has parted ways with Juan Carlos Ferrero, there are rumors around that the youngster will partner with Boris Becker.

No thank you. BECKER

During a recent interview with Sport-Informations-Dienst, Boris commented

“In my role as the head of men’s tennis at the DTB, my job is to look after our best,” Becker was quoted by SID, an AFP subsidiary.

But traveling with him every week, training and organizing everything – no thanks!

The boy is a diamond; we have to be happy that we have him.”
