Denis Shapovalov reaches the second ATP semifinal in his career in Delray Beach after his amazing run last year at the Rogers Cup where he reached the final 4 after defeating Juan Martin Del Potro and Rafael Nadal on the way.

The upcoming Canadian is having a nice run in Delray Beach after he defeated Ivo Karlovic, Jared Donaldson, and now Taylor Fritz before getting to the semis.

Denis was always in full control of the contest against Fritz to never concede his serve and to break the American once per set. The final result was 7-5 6-4.

Denis Will face either Hyeon Chung or Frances Tiafoe in the semifinal. Their match has been suspended for rain when the American was leading 5-7 6-4 5-3.

On the other side of the draw, Peter Gojowczyk and Steve Johnson will fight for a place in the final.
