What happened?
Sascha Zverev, one of the nicest guys on tour, was playing a tough match against Alex De Minaur in Brisbane during the 1st round tie against Australia. During the contest, a ball girl, Issy Tomkins (16), had a tumble on court while chasing a ball.
Sascha was extremely nice to go and give a kiss on the cheek to the girl that was completely caught by surprise (and very happy about that).
After the match, Issy admitted that she was backing the German to comment “I’m mixed because I’m supposed to go for Australia, but I kind of want him to win as well.”
