Chung upsets Djokovic in Melbourne

What a day for the South Korean tennis as Hyeon Chung upsets Novak Djokovic in straight sets at the Australian Open (4th round).

Hyeon had a fantastic start of the match against Djokovic to conquer a 4-0 lead. Eventually, the former world no.1 managed to come back in the set after capturing 2 breaks, but the South Korean was incredibly good to keep the composure and win the following tiebreak.

The story repeated itself in the 2nd set after Chung conquered a 3-0 lead before Nole got back the break (4-3). Eventually, Chung won the decisive break in the 12th game (7-5).

Once more, Chung found himself leading of 1-break up in the 3rd set (3-1), but once again Nole got the break back. Chung was again the best player, in the end, to conquer the final tiebreak and win the match 7-6 (3) 7-5 7-6 (3).

Next vs. Sandgren

Chung will face Tennys Sandgren in the quarters. The head to head is 1-0 for Chung that defeated Sandgren in the 1st round in Auckland this year. They would have never thought that their next match would have been the quarters in Melbourne.
