Weird stuff in Sydney!
What happened?
Nick Kyrgios and Sascha Zverev were playing the doubles at the Fast4 exhibition in Sydney. Nick was siding with his friend and mentor Lleyton Hewitt while Sascha was partnering with Grigor Dimitrov.
At the beginning of the match, there was an exchange that brought Nick at the net. The Australian was at the mercy of Zverev that to make things funny tried to push the ball on Kyrgios’ racket. That didn’t happen and the ball went straight at Nick’s face that went down on the floor. Sascha was clearly embarrassed, and he apologized in a funny way.
Of course, no bad feelings between the Australian and the German as they are in great terms.
