Gael Monfils is back!

After the match, Gael commented
“I had a long rest, and I’m a lot stronger for 2018. I didn’t expect to win the first tournament, but I’m happy I did.”
The Frenchman will be ranked no.40 after this tournament, and he will be unseeded at the Australian Open. He is going to be one of the most dangerous floaters at that slam.
