It is going to be very tough to beat Zverev at the Australian Open. FEDERER

Roger Federer has never hidden the fact that he is a fan of Sascha Zverev.

The world no.2 has a 3-2 head to head lead over the young German, and he thinks that the 20-year-old will be one of the men to beat at the upcoming Australian Open.

Roger has just qualified for the Hopman Cup final where he is expected to face Sacha in singles (as Germany is the favorite to be the other finalist) and he is already focussing on Zverev’s improvements.

Why Roger thinks that it is going to be difficult to beat Zverev

During a recent interview in Perth, Roger commented

“I think every year that goes by he’s only going to become stronger at the Slam level,’ Federer told the Hopman Cup. He’s going to be very tough to beat here at the Australian Open. I think he’s doing all the right things.

He had a great pre-season, he arrived early here in Perth. He’s put in some sacrifices.”

What about a nice Federer-Zverev final in Melbourne?
