Roger plays a fantastic match against Yuichi Sugita in the Hopman Cup to beat the Japanese 6-4 6-3. The Swiss Legend was in full control for the entire encounter to break the Japanese 3 times without conceding a single service game.
Roger impressed again for his form and his tennis to win 65 points vs. Sugita’s 50.
Federer was playing for Team Switzerland in Perth, and Belinda Bencic sealed the deal in the other single after she defeated Naomi Osaka 7-5 6-3.
Eventually, Roger and Belinda defeated Yuichi and Naomi in the dead rubber 2-4 4-1 4-3 (1) to give a 3-0 win to their team.

Roger will be back on court in singles the 2nd of January when he will face Karen Khachanov from Russia.
