Camila Giorgi is currently playing competing in the so-called Asian swing. The Italian has started her run in Osaka with a strong straight-sets win over Xinyun Han. To face Sloane Stephens in the following round.

Ranked no.54, Camila has a 12-11 win-loss record in 2019. The Italian is now competing in Osaka where she toppled Xinyun Han 7-66

Giorgi will take on Stephens in the 2nd round. The head to head is 2-2.

The last time that they played, Stephens won 4-6 6-1 8-6 in the 3rd round in Paris in June 2018.

Giorgi was the finalist in Washington and in New York.
