That was a horrific way to start the new season!
Novak Djokovic had to withdraw from Doha soon after he retired from the Mubadala World Tennis Championship because of his problem with his right elbow.
The Serbian legend had to cut short his 2017 season after he withdrew in Wimbledon while he was playing the quarters against Berdych.
The former world no.1 released the following communicate
“Unfortunately the situation with the elbow has not changed for better since yesterday. I still feel the pain. Therefore, I will have to withdraw from ATP tournament in Doha.”
Let’s hope for the best, but the Australian Open is also at risk.
