Kyrgios refuses to have a full-time coach in 2018

Nick Kyrgios loves to follow his feelings, and that clashes with having someone always keeping tabs on him. The consequence is that the upcoming Australian has been coachless for sometimes as he can accept only “sporadic” partnerships like the one he had with Frenchman Sebastien Grosjean at some tournaments last year or a short spell he enjoyed with his friend Radek Stepanek (that is now coaching Djokovic).

I will go about my things. KYRGIOS

During a recent interview, Nick commented

I don’t have a coach. I will go about my thing, the same I did this year.

“I wasn’t looking at anyone. Radek helped me a little bit. I’m not surprised Novak hired him. He has great knowledge.

I’ve done it pretty much all alone the past three years. To bring someone in on. It’s tough to know if they are just doing it for the sake of getting some cash or if they have best interests at heart.

I’m not looking for someone willing to guide me, and so far, I haven’t found anyone to meet those requirements as a fulltime coach.’’

Probably that is working. Probably…
