Jelena Ostapenko had a smashing 2017 after winning the Roland Garros coming from nowhere and backing up her French title after triumphing in Seoul.
Now ranked no.7, the Latvian is looking forward to consolidating her top10 status in 2018. Jelena had to part ways with her coach Anabel Medina-Garrigues that has accepted to lead the Spanish Fed Cup team. Therefore, Ostapenko has hired David Taylor, Australian, that has already coached the likes of Martina Hingis, Ana Ivanovic, and Sam Stosur.
