Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have dazzled the tennis community with their incredible comebacks during the last season. Roger and Rafa have shared the slams in 2017 like they used to do in the nice old days, but according to Lleyton Hewitt, Roger was even “more amazing” than Rafa for doing something he wasn’t capable of in the past: dominating Nadal for the entire season.
Hewitt’s comment
Lleyton commented: “You wouldn’t think so [they can continue to dominate] but I don’t know if those two are normal, especially Roger.
At his age, he’s wound back the clock. Even against Rafa, he’s done the best he ever has against him. I wouldn’t say there’s anything those two can’t do.”
Even if Roger has a 15-23 H2H record against Rafa, he has managed to defeat his nemesis for 5 consecutive times in the last 5 matches (4 times only in 2017).
