Good news for the tennis fans in Australia as Nick Kyrgios, Grigor Dimitrov, and Sascha Zverev are going to compete in the upcoming FAST4 event in Sydney that will take place the 8th of January.

“Playing the FAST4 Showdown was a lot of fun in Sydney, and I’m looking forward to playing again.
The level of play was really high, and I’m expecting it to go to an even higher level with guys like Dimitrov and Zverev competing.
I’ve known Sascha Zverev for a long time; we played juniors together. He’s played great tennis this year and done all the right things; he’s a total professional.
It’s been great to see Grigor get back to his top form and finish the year at No. 3 in the world. He really helped me a couple of months ago and to see him have such a successful end of the year — it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving guy.”

The format
FAST4 has its name from the fact that you win a game with 4 points, you win a set with 4 games, and there are 4 rules:
1- No AD score (the first to win 4 points wins the game without advantages played);
2- Lets on serve are played;
3- Tie-breaks are played on a 3-3 scoreline;
4- The first to win 4 games wins the set.
