DOPING ALLEGATIONS. Nadal wins court case against former French Minister

Well done Rafa!

Rafael Nadal is one of the fittest tennis players in history not because he got any shortcut, but because he put an immense effort into doing his job. It should be incredibly frustrating for the Spaniard is accused now and then of doping.

The Spanish Legend couldn’t bear the allegations from former French Minister Roselyne Bachelot after she suggested on TV that he was taking performance-enhancing drugs in 2012. Eventually, the world no.1 sued the Frenchwoman, and he won the case. The payment will be a mere €12,000 (it wasn’t about money), and it will be donated to a French NGO.

The statement

Rafa release the following statement on Facebook

“As you can see in the media, today is a happy day for me, my team and my fans. The French justice has resolved the case in favor of my honesty and integrity as a sports player. I want to thank all of you who believed in me.

As I said before, the money from the fine will be donated to a French NGO. If somebody like her, who should be serious, can say this stupid stuff then now is the moment to say, ‘OK, from now everybody who is going to speak of this kind of stuff with no proof then I’m going to do the same and take legal action against that person.”

Well done Rafa!
