Jack Sock is still alive in London!

The American surprises in his second match against Marin Cilic to beat the Croat in 3 sets after he was facing a 0-3 deficit in the decider before winning 5-7 6-2 7-6 (4). The most crucial moment for the American was not only when he conquered a crucial break in the 5^th game of the decider (2-3), but also when he won 5 consecutive points in the final breaker to win 7-4 after being 2-4 down.

Eventually, the American won the contest after scoring just 1 point more than his opponent (103 vs. 102).

Soon after the match, Jack commented

“I think if I do the right things and I play the right tennis, I can give myself a chance to play on the weekend of any tournament. I think I’ve shown that more this year.”

The American will now face Zverev for a place for the final while it’s game over for Cilic as it’s impossible to qualify for the final 4 after 2 defeats.
