Naomi Osaka enjoyed massive success during his great partnership with Sascha Bajin. Together they won Indian Wells, the US Open and the Australian Open before reachingthe world no.1 rank. The German won also the WTA coach of the year award in 2018.

However, things got mysteriously south during the Australian Open and after a couple of weeks that Naomi won the title, she fired Sascha to partner with Jermaine Jenkins. The American coach has a fantastic reputation, but eventually he wasn’t able to “find the solution” and Naomi is still “titless” after winning in Melbourne. Therefore the former world no.1, decided to split with Jemaine.

Why Naomi needs to be back with Sascha

Even if it remains “almost a secret” the real reason of the split, it is undeniable that Naomi and Sascha were a fantastic pair. Therefore, as soon as the news broke that Osaka was without a coach there were many comments of Naomi’s main fan page on facebook and on the Social Media in geenral that the Japanese needs to partner again with Bajin. However, the German is currently coaching Kiki Mladenovic with decent results.

Here some comments

“If I were you, I’d just call him to reconcile before he gets aware of this pool. The reason being let him not think people moved you to go back to him, but your personal decision. I had frowned the very day you announced split from him. Sascha Bajin is a great Coach even if it means sharing his tactics with other Top Seeds, my thought though…”

“You should go back with Sasha. He was good to you. You were winning everything”

“Right decision, but you have to try and go reconcile with Sascha Bajin. He took Serena very far. I’m sure he’ll take you very far too…”
