What a moment for Caroline Wozniacki!
The Dane has just won the most prestigious tournament of her great career after she conquered the WTA Finals in Singapore and after few days she is engaged with former NBA star David Lee.
In 2013, the world no.3 had to endure a heartbreak when she was abruptly dumped by her then-fiancé Rory McIlroy soon after they sent the invitations for their weddings (that was done over a 3 minutes’ telephone call). Caro was obviously shocked by the experience that was widely reported by the media, and she got some precious comfort from some close friends (Serena Williams in primis).
Life looks rosy again from Woznicki off the court after Caroline to broke the news on Instagram saying, “Happiest day of my life yesterday saying yes to my soulmate.”
Well done Caroline. This will be a successful one!
