Why Federer didn’t want to play in Paris

Even if there was a sort of mystery if Roger Federer would have played the last ATP1000 in Paris, there was the feeling that the Maestro would have missed that in order to focus on the ATP Finals.

Eventually, soon after the victorious final in Basel, Roger confirmed he won’t play in Bercy as his body needs healing.

The organization of the Rolex Paris Master made the official   announcement on Twitter to say that

“Roger Federer has withdrawn with Back injury. the next player eligible to be seeded (Pouille) has filled the vacant position #RolexPMasters.”

Let’s hope that the Maestro will be fully fit for London. 3 years ago he couldn’t play the Final at the O2 because of this problem.
