Damir Dzumhur did it again!
After winning the title in St. Petersburg, Dzumhur triumphs in Moscow. This wasn’t a walk in the park for Damir that to get this title had to win 4 matches in 3 sets.
The final against Berankis lasted an hour and 39 minutes with Dzumhur winning 6-2 1-6 6-4. After the final, Damir commented “I really don’t know, but there is something special here in Russia. Maybe the crowd, I don’t know.”
Damir will now head to Vienna where strangely enough he will play Berankis again in the 1st round.
