Simona Halep and Darren Cahill are back again! The Romanian sensation enjoyed so much success with Darren over the years that it was a bit of a shock when they announced their split last year.
Daren decided to spend more time in Adelaide with his son, but it was clear that he had the desire to get back on tour. The Australian was seen helping Simona at the recent US Open and he was also consulting the former world no.1 during her successful campaign in Wimbledon.
What about Daniel Dobre?
Simona is currently coached by Daniel Dobre and they have really enjoyed some success after the Romanian won the Wimbledon title. It’s not clear if they will keep on partnering in the future.
The announcement
Simona broke the news on social media to say:
“I have some exciting news to share with you. After a year without him on my team, I’m happy to announce that Darren will be back by my side next season”
Even though you've been away this year, you've been with us every step of the way.
Can't wait to welcome you back officially next season @darren_cahill 💪 pic.twitter.com/hVbhm17q4K
