Bad bad news from Juan Martin Del Potro.
The Argentine has been battling for years with his left wrist, and now that it seemed as everything was fixed he had a disastrous fall in Shanghai that may put everything back in square one.
What happened?
Juan Martin was playing the quarters against Viktor Troicki, and during the third set, he fell to the ground injuring his left wrist. The Argentine was in absolute pain, but eventually, he managed to win the match; soon after he had to go to the hospital to have an MRI as he wasn’t convinced with his conditions.
After the contest, the Tower of Tandil said that the pain wasn’t worse than the one he felt during the match, but still we wonder if he will be able to play the semi-final against Roger Federer.
Let’s hope everything will be fine.
