The draw of Shanghai out and Roger Federer has a great table, while Rafale Nadal wasn’t so lucky.
Federer
Roger is already training in Shanghai where after the 1st round bye he will probably face Schwartzman (Tuesday?), Sock, Goffin, and Zverev in the semi-final.
Nadal
Rafa had a rather tough draw to possibly play Cuevas, Pouille (the Frenchman has recently wasted 2 match points against Rafa), Dimitrov (in great form), Kyrgios (Rafa doesn’t like playing the Australian) or Cilic.
Regarding the #netgen, Shapovalov will face Troicki in the 1st round before clashing against Thiem. Chinese rising star Yibing Wu will face Gilles Simon in the opener; Khachanov will play a qualifier in the opener; Zverev and Rublev may face off again in the 3rd round if Andrey upsets Del Potro.
