Flink was in a great position at the beginning of the set to break Kucova in the 2nd game (2-0) before consolidating her break and lead 3-0. Anyhow, that was not enough for the Russian to win the set since the Slovakian found the way to break back in the 5th (2-3) and in the 7th (3-4) game. Flink kept her focus to break the Slovakian in the 6th (4-2) and in the 8th (5-3) game before managing to win the set (6-3).
