Family, parents and sister
Holger was born 29 April 2003 to mother Aneke Rune and his father Anders Nødskov. He has 1 sister named Alma. Holger started playing tennis when he was just 6 following the footsteps of his sister who has started playing tennis seriously. He was followed by Lars Christensen, who remains his head coach. Holger has always credited his mother Aneke for his success. Like many youngsters of his generation, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are his idols.
Holger is used to training at the prestigious Mouratoglou Academy in the South of France.
To date, Holger won 3 challenges in 2021: Biella, San Marino and Verona.
There are no reports of Rune having a girlfriend so far. The only girl who appears in his Instagram timeline is his sister Alma.
