The Next Gen Finals are about to start in Milan and the groups are set.
This edition of the Next Gen Finals will have again 2 groups and the first 2 players of each group will access the semifinals.
Here the groups
Group A
Stefanos Tsitsipas (16)
Frances Tiafoe (44)
Hubert Hurkacz (79)
Jaume Munar (80)
Tsitsipas and Tiafoe are the hot favorites to reach the semifinals as they have a much better experience than Hurkacz and Munar.
Group B
Alex de Minaur (33)
Taylor Fritz (49)
Andrey Rublev (76)
Liam Caruana (622)
The weak link is the Italian wildcard Liam Caruana that ranked no. 622 doesn’t seem to have the tennis to beat the other players of the group that have a much better ranking. Therefore, in this group, it seems that 3 equal players are fighting for 2 spots with De Minaur probably the favorite.
The favorite to win the tournament
The favorite is definitely Stefanos Tsitsipas that last year was “only” the alternate.
Ladies and gentlemen 🥁 Here’s the Order Of Play for Tuesday, Nov 6⃣th!
