FUNNY. Federer beats Kyrgios doing the opposite of what Nadal said to him

This Laver Cup has been great on so many levels. The concept was easy to digest, it wasn’t so hard on the body of the players, and we had the opportunity to see many champions competing together (not only against each other).

The highlight of the event was probably seeing Federer and Nadal playing doubles together, but there was something else that got the attention of the fans: Rafa coaching Roger!

What happened?

Roger was fighting an extremely tough battle against Nick Kyrgios. The Swiss Maestro just managed to win the 2nd set against the Australian, and before playing the 3rd set tiebreak, Rafa gave his own piece of advice. The world no.1 said

“Just to be a bit more aggressive.

He is playing great and controlling the points from the baseline. ‘But we thought that he could be a bit more aggressive on the forehand and Roger agreed.”

He did the exact opposite!!!

Eventually, Roger won the match…to be honest he wasn’t that aggressive during the tiebreak as he was just putting some “soft balls” on the other side of the net waiting for Nick’s mistakes (see the final tiebreak), but still… If you think you have seen it all….
