Bianca Andreescu is by far the most interesting teenager in the tennis scene right now. The Canadian has an outstanding 42-4 win-loss record this year and she is currently ranked no.15 even if she missed almost 3 months because of a nasty injury to her right shoulder.
However, the Canadian seems to have forgotten how to lose matches and after reaching the US Open final her ranking will improve dramatically.
LIVE RANKINGS
Bianca is already the world no.8 in the live rankings and if she defeats Serena Williams in the final she will be ranked no.5 starting from next Monday.
Things are even more interesting for Andreescu in the Year to Date rankings as Bianca is the current world no.8 and she is no.4 in the live year to date rankings. If the teenager wins the US Open, she will still be no.4 in the Year to Date rankings from next weeks with 4727 points. However, in the YTD rankings she will be inches from Karolina Pliskova (world no.3 with 4786 pts) and Simona Halep (world no.2 with 4792 pts).
This is going to be exciting!
