Naomi Osaka and popular American rapper YBN Cordae are an item at least for the last 5 months since Naomi posted a video on Instagram hinting about their relationship.
The Japanese is now competing in the US Open where she is trying to defend her title and the world no.1 rank. Even if YBN Cordae admitted he didn’t know who was Naomi when he met her, the rapper is now becoming a sort of tennis fan, and he is showing up in Naomi’s box during her matches.
How Naomi is supported by her boyfriend
During a quick interview with TMZ sport, YBN Cordae revealed how he helps Naomi to get ready for big matches to comment:Â “I am sure that she is sound asleep right now.”
After asking about how he helped her about her big match against Coco Gauff, he replied: “I let her doing her things. I show love, and I motivate her. She knows what is she doing.”
When asked about how he felt and what he did standing by some legends like Kobe Briant during the match of Naomi, YBN Cordae replied that it was nice being with them, but he was there for Naomi because he loves her.
Naomi will face Belinda Bencic for a place in the quarter. Her boyfriend is expected to be in her box to cheer for her once again.
