Kyrgios has great words for his friend Kokkinakis

Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis are great friends. Both are having a bumpy ride in the pro tour where Nick has been entangled with all sorts of controversies while Thanasi had to deal with injuries.

Kokkinakis is now back on tour, and he is about to play the ATP500 at the Queen’s Club where he received a wild card, and he will face Milos Raonic in the first round.

Kyrgios will play the same tournament. Therefore he had the opportunity to train a bit with his old friend.

“Hitting with him today, his level is still so high,” Kyrgios commented.

“He can still play such a high level that as soon as he gets his body right and as soon as he has a bit more luck, he’ll be right up there.

For me, apart from Zverev and Thiem, I think Thanasi is right up there with those guys.

Look at what he did at the French Open, he took Nishikori to four, nearly five sets in his second match back.”

Let’s see if Thanasi can surprise.
