For its third edition, the Hexagon Cup has announced its move to Caja Magica.

Caja-Magica

The Hexagon Cup is getting ready for a significant change following two successful editions in the Madrid Arena. The tournament will advance significantly with its third edition, which will be held at the Caja Magica from January 28 to February 1, 2026.

The venue is regarded as one of the most cutting-edge and iconic sports arenas in Europe and is well-known for holding ATP and WTA Masters 1000 competitions. It is anticipated that its expanded capacity and contemporary infrastructure will improve the experience for organizers, players, and spectators.

“The Caja Magica, a regular venue for big international events, will allow us to raise operational standards, increase audience capacity and amplify the global profile,” read the official statement from the Hexagon Cup. “With avant‑garde architecture and state‑of‑the‑art facilities, it is the ideal scenario to host the next edition of the tournament, which will once again feature the best players in the world, elite teams, entertainment and hospitality.”

A calculated action with local backing

General Director of Operations and Sport Sergio Lewin stressed the significance of the choice and the ongoing dedication to Madrid as the Hexagon Cup’s host city.

“The move to the Caja Magica is incredibly exciting and strengthens our commitment to offering a world‑class spectacle to players, teams and fans,” Lewin said. “Leaving the Madrid Arena was not an easy decision: it has been the cradle of the Hexagon Cup and will always be part of our history. But we remain in Madrid, with the continued support of the City Council, the Mayor and the Sports Delegate, looking to the future to reinforce the city’s position as the world capital of padel. We are excited about what awaits over the coming months.”

Madrid’s increasing standing in the padel community

Madrid’s position as a major padel hub worldwide is further cemented by the Hexagon Cup’s move. Sonia Cea, the city’s sports delegate, commended the tournament’s creative structure and fit with the city’s strategic objectives.

“Madrid is the world capital of padel and tournaments like the Hexagon Cup help to consolidate this status,” Cea said. “The third edition of the tournament will be held in a very special place, the Caja Magica, a unique facility that already hosts the best tennis in the world and which will now also welcome the best of padel. This event is very important for the city, not only for its sporting level, but also for its fresh and innovative format, which puts the quality of players at the center and offers a dynamic and fun experience to fans.”

With its motto “For the Fans. For the Players. For the Game,” the Hexagon Cup continues to blend elite competition with entertainment, promising another unforgettable edition in 2026.
